The first Istanbul Watch Festival, Turkey's first dedicated watch show, took place on 10–11 October 2026 at Terminal Kadıköy and drew more than 7,500 visitors. Over 20 brands from eight countries took part, including Casio, Citizen, Bulova, Tutima, Nomos, Baume & Mercier, Bremont and Doxa. The programme featured movement-assembly workshops, lectures and panel discussions. The show also marked the 30th anniversary of Quantum, described as the first Turkish watch brand to go international; it is now sold in 35 countries, and its Barracuda diver with a Miyota automatic costs under $300.
Why it matters: It shows regional watch fairs spreading to new markets, much like Timeology Nights in Riyadh.
