Panerai has introduced the Luminor in 42mm for the first time, keeping the signature crown-protecting bridge: PAM01710 (black dial), PAM01711 (khaki green) and PAM01714 (black DLC with a dark blue dial). The 13.8mm-thick case is water-resistant to 500m and houses the automatic P.980 with a three-day power reserve and stop-seconds. Prices are €6,500, or €7,500 for the DLC version, available now.

Why it matters: A size that opens the Luminor to a wider audience.
